How yummy does this kale salad look? Ok, well, if you’re into kale anyway.
We are getting back into our kale & fruit smoothies here at the house. I’m not sure why we went off for a while (vacation? holidays?) but I’m happy to be motivated to eat better again. My smoothies are super easy and on the fly. I just fill my Vitamix with whatever fresh and frozen fruit we have around, usually a whole apple, a few strawberries, handful of blueberries, banana or two, mango or pineapple or peaches, then top it off with orange juice, cranberry juice, and a few kale leaves. Sometimes ice or milk or even yogurt if I’m feeling crazy. And a minute later, I’ve made a super healthy smoothie for myself and Paaloma.
