Make a sweet, tangy, mostly ice smoothie. And you’ll like it too. It tastes like summer.
Lemon-Orange Raspberry Smoothie
- Put 1 1/2 trays of ice in your Vitamix.
- Add a cup of frozen raspberries.
- Pour in enough OJ & lemonade to cover the ice, maybe an inch over.*
- Blend for a minute. Done & yum!
If you want to add a frozen banana or a whole apple, go ahead. That’ll just make it sweeter and more delicious. I was just going for mostly ice with this one to get some water & vitamin C in my child.
*I used pulpfree organic OJ & Santa Cruz organic lemonade to make the smoothie quickly today but you can also peel a couple oranges & lemons, as I have done in the past. Just blend up the fruit first, before adding the ice and blending together, to grind up the seeds and pulp.
