This week’s Doonesbury cartoons are being suppressed by a number of US newspapers because the strip is tackling abortion for the first time in 42 years.
‘Several newspapers are reportedly running “flashbacks” — i.e. old strips — in lieu of this week’s Doonesbury, which deals with the recent spate of anti-abortion ultrasound bills.
“I chose the topic of compulsory sonograms because it was in the …news and because of its relevance to the broader battle over women’s health currently being waged in several states,” Garry Trudeau told the Washington Post.’

Like I’ve said before, I am all for saving babies but taking away women’s rights and allowing state sanctioned rape is NOT the way to do it. Find another way.
