I made too many sweet rolls the other day and wasn’t sure what to do with them. I was thinking maybe make some bread pudding. No, no. Pizza! Everyone loves pizza.
It took about 10 minutes to make them this afternoon so I thought I’d share.
Here are my rolls when they came out of the oven the other day. I used my grandmother’s recipe, except I made them half whole wheat.

Ingredients for the pizza:
- A couple of rolls, cut in half (Bagels or English muffins also work great.)
- Pizza sauce
- Enough mozzarella cheese slices to cover the rolls
- Pepperoni
Assembly is fast and easy. Turn the oven on to broil. Get out a cookie pan. Cut the rolls in half and place them on the cookie pan. Slather the pizza sauce on the rolls. Then cover the rolls with cheese. Then lay a few pepperoni slices on top. Put in the oven.
Broil until bubbly and brown spots show up on the cheese, about 5 minutes in my oven.
Done and yum!
